    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=9296">nosaj</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8240<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 31 Mar 2018 at 2:32am<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>Hello, My system was running fine, but I wanted to update the BIOS in case it included any fix for the Meltdown security issue. &nbsp;I formatted the USB and added the 3.70 update, rebooted into BIOS and did the Instant Flash. &nbsp;It reported a success and then rebooted. &nbsp;After it started powering up there was nothing displayed on screen. &nbsp;Just solid black. &nbsp;After about a minute it shuts off. &nbsp;There are no beeps or anything else I can tell. &nbsp;If I reboot it just happens again. &nbsp;I tried the steps to reset the CMOS and waited with the battery unplugged and the Jumper set for 10 minutes, but it still didn't work.<div><br></div><div>Any other ideas? &nbsp;I've opened a support case with ASRock but since it's Friday I'm not expecting anything back for awhile.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks</div>]]>
