I told you earlier on it sounded like an old BIOS. and you just wailed at me.. OK... now we know whats wrong......... the MB IS compatible with the 2200 BUT. it needs a later BIOS to run it............. so you have options. Get a boot kit from AMD. Get a summit ridge-Bristol ridge APU and update the bios&nbsp; so it will then&nbsp; take the 2200......<br>]]>

All the signs are pointing towards the memory. However, I have now also tried booting with no memory. It doesn't appear to make any difference, so the memory is not the problem.
