    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8591">DunGoneNuts</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8342<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 Apr 2018 at 6:47am<br /><br />As above.&nbsp; My G Skill is at 3466 with no issues after several weeks of tweaking.&nbsp; If you are thinking of getting to 3200 or more, you need to drop the bucks on the Samsung B die memory.&nbsp; BTW, I have 4 sticks at 8GB for a total of 32GB working at 3466 T1 14, 14, 14, 30, 54<br><br>OTOH, unless you are running 4K gaming, I understand that there is little value in going with an expensive memory as anything over 2666 is pretty much a waste of monies on memory.<br><br>However, if you want to achieve a decent overclock on the memory, you are going to have to drop the bucks.<br><br><br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=7711">kerberos_20</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8342<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 Apr 2018 at 5:47pm<br /><br />technically that ram is 2133MHz<br>3200MHz can be achieved through XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) on selected boards<br>g skill has qvl list of boards on which this clock has been tested to be working<br>which all of them are intel (x299, z170, z270, z370) <br><br>as for ryzen 1, they support 2666MHz, anything above it is considered as overclock and may not work and usualy requeres manual tinkerink with timings/voltages<br>ryzen 2 did go slightly up with 2933MHz support, anything above is overclock<br><br>as for ram which should work in xmp speeds from gskill, those are GTZRX (trident z rgb) or GFX models (flare x)<br>those are hand picked and tested on selected x370/x399 boards (gskill has its own qvl list)<br><br>soo if your mobo qvl says 2933, then u can put xmp profile in your bios and set speed accordingly to qvl supported speed (which is working/tested speed)<br><br>if u want to go higher than that, than u will need to manually set timings, otherwise ram may get unstable<br>]]>
