    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=9422">rabinnh</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8359<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 Apr 2018 at 5:59am<br /><br />Just installed an Intell i7-8700 and 2 sticks of PNY 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz.&nbsp; Nothing else installed yet.&nbsp; When I hit the I/O button on the PS the white/bluish led under the black and white ASRock heat sink comes on and pulses.&nbsp; It then turns red and pulses.&nbsp; Pressing the power button has no effect; not even the power supply fan.<div><br></div><div>My case doesn't have a speaker, although I would guess since it won't even power that wouldn't help.&nbsp; The manual has no troubleshooting section that I can find to determine if the colored LEDs have meaning.</div><div><br></div><div>I must have built 50 systems, and usually if they won't boot (which is rare) I triple check all connections.&nbsp; Did that a few times - they're all good.&nbsp; Then pull the CMOS battery.&nbsp; No luck.&nbsp; Even disconnect the power and jump the clear CMOS jumpers.&nbsp; Still no luck.</div><div><br></div><div>I think I've only had 1 DOA MB in all those builds - usually there is something in the manual.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Any help is appreciated.</div>]]>
