That's a tricky situation! It sounds like you've covered the usual suspects. Sometimes, even with cloned drives, the BIOS settings can be finicky. It sounds like you're facing a classic boot order issue after cloning. Have you checked your BIOS settings to ensure the M.2 drive (the cloned one) is explicitly prioritized as the primary boot device? Sometimes the system defaults to trying the SATA first, even though the M.2 might be the drive you want. Makes me think of customizing my desktop! Good luck finding a solution.

Check my thread I posted to today.

I had the same issue and it was the old HDD was a MBR format and not a GPT format. I didn't find a way to recover the data, though it's supposed to be possible by running a conversion program 'mbr2gpt.exe'. See this link:

It didn't work for me, but maybe it will for you.

New board, 2 hard drives with win working 10 install - 1 SATA, 1 M.2 Cloned from Sata
BIOS reports no boot device but can see both of them, together or separate.
I've disabled TPM and UEFI still cannot boot to either device.
