Not all CPU have built in GPU. In BIOS their should be a setting under Chipset where you can enable multi GPU, have you checked ?
Author: refugee
Subject: 8505
Posted: 25 Apr 2018 at 12:39pm

First off, I have a total of 6 of these boards. The first one I set up worked flawless and since it did, I put zero effort into memorizing what I did. With that said, my next set up has been nothing but headaches.

I hook everything up. RAM, CPU, PSU, Monitor (via DVI), Windows (on a USB - already fully configured with drivers), USB keyboard. All parts are officially supported (I triple checked). I attach all cables to the motherboard. The CPU 8 PIN, the Motherboard fat pin, and the two molex 4 pins to support the PICe slots. Its all there. When I turn it on it seems to work just fine - fan spins, Ethernet port lights flicker. But no monitor.

Ok, so I hook up a GPU via a riser to the motherboard - still nothing. I then use a cable to hook up the GPU directly to the monitor - nothing.

Now I put one GPU directly into slot 3 (the large slot) and connect directly to the monitor - this works. I can get into BIOS. However, if I let it boot (try to let it boot) it either freezes or I get a blue screen.

This is the only way for me to access BIOS. Now there I tried everything. Switching to onboard graphics, switching to dual monitor and then to onboards graphics. I followed the step at the bottom of this: http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/BTC/H110%20Pro%20BTC+.pdf

I tried two different monitors with 3 different cables. Nothing. I resete CMOS 2 dozen times. I took the battery out. You name it, I have done it.

Now the craziest of all - this morning I hooked 5 GPUs up, all via risers. And for some reason booted. I went into BIOS and everything there seems normal. Right after is "repaired" Windows and then booted into it. I had tested that motherboard at least 5 times all ways mentioned above. I doubt any of these are broke and I am not a complete idiot when it comes to computer hardware but something is off. I am sure this is fixable.

As I said I have 4 more right now and I am testing them all through, they all show the same signs. I am sure there is some auto recognize on or switch.

Any help or advice would be appreciated - would have to hate to return these. I can't mess with this much longer.
