Forcing it into something lower caused the PC to not boot up.</div><div><br></div><div>I'm pretty sure the RAM is also seated properly - I heared clicks and everything.&nbsp;<img src="https://forum.asrock.com/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />&nbsp;Both modules are flush with the MB, and I have tried installing them in A1/B1 as well with the same results.</div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=9808">repens</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8728<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19 May 2018 at 10:38am<br /><br />I just put together a new build and can't figure out why Windows is saying that only 8 of 16BG RAM is usable.<div><br><div>Specs:</div><div>- AMD Ryzen 2600X</div><div>- ASRock Taichi x470 (v1.10)</div><div>- G.Skill Flare X 3200 16GB (8GB x2)</div><div>- Samsung 960 EVO m.2</div><div><br></div><div>I haven't overclocked anything, and have done a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro. RAM is installed in A2/B2, but BIOS shows RAM is running single channel. Memory diagnostics said the RAM was ok though.
