To answer my own post - the answer is No, bios 2 does not support NVME booting as I flashed it anyway just to see.

The website says BIOS 2.0 beta "micro code update". You should contact Tech support direct and ask them if it includes NVME support

Hi,

Can anyone confirm (before I flash it) that the new beta bios 2.0 for the Z77 Extreme9 has the NVME update like the not generally listed 1.9f bios (which is supplied on request from ASRock support).
