Yes, BIOS 2.50 6/15/2016 adds NVME support and BIOS 2.60 3/13/2018 updates Intel microcode for Spectre (but also can cause performance and reboot issues). I would not flash to a newer BIOS if your computer is working well. The Asrock website has BIOS here:

I have a ASRock Z97 Pro 4 MOBO. Its original BIOS is P2.20. Has there been a newer BIOS since 5/12/2015?
