There are some ways but if you have the onboard Audio enabled most of the ways will BEEP through the Audio speakers not the pc motherboard speaker. Windows 7 and up redirects BIOS beeps thru Audio once OS is loaded. You can try this: Open a command prompt, type: echo Ctrl+G then hit enter. Note: hold control key when you hit G key. Another way is this small utility: http://www.rlvision.com/misc/beep.php

I know there used to be a way to do it back when I was still messing about with QBasic as a kid but I have no idea if it's still possible. I don't see why not, I mean if you play an old DOS game you should still get the beep effects.

Not really the right place to ask though, this is a hardware forum not a programming forum. I do believe that however it's accessed should be common to all systems though regardless of age and brand. Let us know what you turn up.
