I did try to update to the new bios. First bios 3.60 (i have 3.10)  but the flash option didn't find any usb stick, yes i had it format at fat32 also unzip an zip on it. I did try internet update, "no updates found" ???????? Great that i not alone in this. I did look at the rma page of asrock but i live in the Nederlands and didn't find where i needed to be. I did had some contact with asrock Benelux, so i will try that.

In that case, all of you experiencing this issue please make a support ticket with ASRock on their website. Include the details and links to pertinent threads. I am afraid there is nothing the forum community can do to help if the issue is a BIOS bug. 

Even if you don't get a fix or satisfactory response right away, the cumulative reports of this issue will likely cause them to look closely at it. Manufacturer's tech support departments are always busy so they need to prioritize widespread issues over isolated ones. This is based on the number of reported issues so if that figure is low, it gets less attention.

Unfortunately, the AB350 Gaming ITX/ac that I own behaves exactly the same and since launch of the Raven Ridge APUs there have been multiple posts on this forum regarding the issue. Besides the XMP-Settings and the resulting frequency (3200  MHz in my case), which are still displayed in bios but not applied (leading to 2400 MHz as the actual frequency) after pulling the plug and restoring power also the IGP settings like framebuffer size and frequency are reset. I am sure one user on this forum (can´t remember the username unfortunately) assembled a list of bugs regarding Raven Rigde and the ASRock AB350/X370 line of motherboards and reported it to supports months ago.

I build my Raven Ridge ITX system at launch and still can not use it as intended because of this bug and the missing stable bios using PinnaclePI AGESA 1.0.0.2b :(.

I will look into this. But i think it is as out off box. I didn't change it myself.

 this bord has a battery with a cable attached to it. So wrong with the battery is impossible. I did check the first battery with a battery checker and it was full. It has to be something else. Indeed properly a bios error as sco77001  is saying.

I think this is a bug with the BIOS, I built a 2400g system a few weeks ago for my dad and it doesn't save XMP settings after it is unplugged.. It saves all other configs except the ones for memory.


And BIOS support from ASRock really sucks, they can't even provide latest AGESA.

Check to make sure there is no debris or plastic in the battery holder and that it hasn't come unsoldered from the board somehow. The Fatal1ty x370 Gaming-ITX/ac is't saving the bios settings after removing the power cable and reinsert. I did try a new battery but this didn't help.

What can i do?
