I have a Z370 Gaming K6, and a 970EVO. The Tachi uses the same BIOS. The 970 and 960 EVO share the same architecture. Don't have a Taichi but I do use a 970 Evo (250gb) with my Z370 Extreme 4 and it worked without a hitch.
