The back panel supplies all the needed outputs but you have to set the Realtek HD Audio Manager in Control Panel to 5.1. The Front pair plug into the Green, the Center/Subwoofer into the Pink and the Rears plug into the Blue. The manual shows how to connect 7.1 but is nearly same except you do not use the front panel connector.<br>The Logitech manual shows how to connect the Z506 speakers in their quick start guide.
