    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1036">Ken429</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9007<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 Jun 2018 at 10:41pm<br /><br />Thanks for the reply.&nbsp; I set the IGU to "OnBoard" before reading your reply (for some reason I did not get an email notification) and all seemed to work OK.&nbsp; I'll have to go back into the BIOS and see what the "Share Memory" is set at since I did not play with it.&nbsp; But all seems ok, the mining software is working and the screen is running via the 4790K onboard graphics.&nbsp; Device Manager now shows the three Display adapters.<div><br></div><div>Checked the BIOS and as expected "Share Memory" was set to "Auto".&nbsp; System was working ok but based on your comment I changed it to 512K.&nbsp; Nothing appeared to change - everthing still works as advertised.&nbsp; I guess the added memory might come into play if I was doing anything that challenged the onboard video system - but I'm not since all these systems just sit and run 24-7 unattended.</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Ken429 - 24 Jun 2018 at 3:31am</span>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1036">Ken429</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9007<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 Jun 2018 at 5:16pm<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>Is it possible to use the onboard graphics port even though there are video cards installed on system?&nbsp;&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>I am have two systems mining Ethereum using two EVGA 1070 SC video cards installed in each system.&nbsp; I also have a home server with no video card and a third system with two old EVGA 960 Video cards that I'm using for mining Ethereum.&nbsp; I bought a 4-port KVM switch that uses&nbsp; VGA connections thinking I could use one monitor, keyboard and mouse for all four systems since they run 24-7 with little interaction needed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Things were OK connecting the Home Server and the system with the old EVGA 960 cards.&nbsp; Then I discovered that the 1070 cards do not support VGA conversion!&nbsp; But the integrated Intel graphics does.</div><div><br></div><div>So...if I set the BIOS to "Onboard" gragpics will I be able to use a DVI to VGA adpater and run a VGA connected Monitor using the Intel graghics?&nbsp; Or is there more I need to change in the BIOS to make it happen?</div>]]>
