The intention was to get a higher framerate in games, to make it more smooth in general. Sadly im having issues with frametime / hiccups since ive booted the system for the first time.</div><div><br></div><div>When I play any game the screen seems to stutter for not even a second to then continue running smooth again. However it happens so often that its starting to get annoying. Here is an image of afterburner to show what I mean:</div><div><br></div><div><img src="https://i.imgur.com/7C7k3&#079;N.png" border="0" /></div><div><br></div><div>System specs:</div><div><br></div><div>EVGA GeForce GTX1070 FTW Gaming 8GB</div><div>Intel i7 8700k</div><div>G.Skill RipJaws 3200Mhz 2x8GB</div><div>Asrock z370 Extreme4</div><div>Scythe Mugen5 PCGH Edition Cooler</div><div>Corsair CS650M PSU</div><div><br></div><div>Things I have already tried:</div><div><br></div><div><div>-Reinstall Windows 10 (twice)</div><div>-Install motherboard drivers</div><div>-Flash motherboard to new version</div><div>-Update firmware on SSD</div><div>-Change SATA cables</div><div>-Disable XMP</div><div>-Remove NVIDIA drivers and reinstall latest</div><div>-Use specific settings in NVIDIA control panel</div><div>-Test CPU and RAM under stress (no errors)</div><div>-Default settings motherboard</div></div><div><br></div><div>Since im running out of things to try im asking here.
