I also reset the cmos data but nothing changed this. Unfortunately i have still no other pc here able to take this memory to test it in there. <br><br>Any further suggestions would be appreciated, <br>Thank you in advance!]]>

If it is an upgrade you can try clearing CMOS and see if that makes the RAM detect correctly as 8gb x2. To get it to run at 1600 you will need to enable XMP in your BIOS.&nbsp;]]>
