Hello all, I had a dual monitor setting that made the memory be shared with the the onboard video card, removed it - now it is not shared, enabled XMP and now the memory is at 1600Mh but still just the 8gb out of 16. I also reset the cmos data but nothing changed this. Unfortunately i have still no other pc here able to take this memory to test it in there.

Any further suggestions would be appreciated,

Is this a memory upgrade or a new build? If it is an upgrade you can try clearing CMOS and see if that makes the RAM detect correctly as 8gb x2. A little bit more details, the memory is 1600MHZ 9-9-9-24 1.5V 8GB and it is being recognized as 4Gb 1333

I have an Asustek Z77 Pro3 motherboard with 2 memory slots occupied with Corsair Vengeance LP with 8GB each. The BIOS only recognizes 4GB each.

Can you help me solve this problem?
