    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=6685">smrtech</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9084<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06 Jul 2018 at 3:31am<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a>I recently upgraded my MB AB250M Pro4 to the latest 4.70 BIOS and it is working fine.<div>I have a Ryzen 7 1700 CPU</div><div><br></div><div>However the settings for overclocking are a bit different than before.&nbsp; I have no issues using</div><div>Ryzen Master to get the CPU clock up to 3.6 or higher and the machine is stable.</div><div><br></div><div>When I set the BIOS CPU Frequency to 3200 and no voltage change, the machine boots, but</div><div>I get partial screens, can't login, black out put on screens.&nbsp; Machine is useless.&nbsp; When I put</div><div>it back to default settings, it works fine again.&nbsp; Default on this CPU is 3000 I believe.</div><div><br></div><div>I was previously with the 3.x BIOS able to get 3600, so something is wacky.&nbsp; Anybody else</div><div>have similar issues?&nbsp; The overclocking in the BIOS is useless at this point.</div><div><br></div><div>I assume the BIOS CPU frequency field is MHz, not GHz (like 3.2)&nbsp; It was MHz before.&nbsp; Of course nothing</div><div>says, so I can never be sure.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]>
