Asrock is the only motherboard manufacturer that still uses in some models legacy I/O support.<br />The most modern motherboards I found are:<br /><br />Intel: Z77 Extreme6<br />AMD: 990FX Extreme4<br /><br />The problem is that Asrock has many motherboards models and you easily get lost. It doesn't have a good compare tool based on specs.<br /><br />Anyway...There is no PCI/PCIe FDD controller and USB FDD have less features....so at the end it seems you need a special FDD controller (like a Catweasel)...thing I would like to avoid but it seems not possible. :(<br /><br />]]>

I assume you are looking for a floppy drive to read old floppies?&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>If so then I would look into something like <a href="http://www.amaz&#111;n.com/Teac-Corp-Floppy-Drive-External/dp/B0007VE044" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">this</a>&nbsp;from Amazon.</div><div><br></div><div>I hope this helps</div>]]>

That was a G31M-S board from 2008, no doubt long out of production.<br><br><a href="http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G31M-S/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G31M-S/</a><br><br>My advice would be to try to find a separate floppy controller add on board, for a PCIe x1 slot or more likely a PCI slot.<br><br>I'm sorry but you just won't find a floppy controller chip on a current board that has M.2 slots for PCIe SSDs, and supports NVMe.<br>]]>
