Regarding your question, Fatal1tyZ170 Gaming K6 needs to update a special BIOS to support ASRock Thunderbolt 3AIC, and the Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K6 only supports one ASRock Thunderbolt 3AIC.

*The Thunderbolt 3 AIC have toinstall at the PCIE6 slot and connect the TBT Header Cable to the TBT Header.

I have the ASRock Z170 Gaming K6 and was wonder if a Thunderbolt 3 PCIe can be added. I can't seem to find any Thunderbolt 2 cards anymore and if 3 can be added does it have to be a specific brand such as AsRock or Asus since they're like the only two brands I see. Can the ASRock Z170 Gaming K6 handle 2xTB3 cards or just single?
