I completely built it into the case, ready to close up (I know, I should have known better and test everything outside first :)) so the first thing I double checked after the thing didn't power on were all connections (graphics, quick wiggle on the RAM, all case connectors, ..).<div><br></div><div>After this didn't help, I started ripping things out / disconnecting things again.</div><div><br></div><div>In the meantime I upgraded the bios on my wifes Ryzen Mainboard and confirmed that the CPU and the RAM are working in her machine.</div><div><br></div><div>While on that, I put her 1600 Ryzen into my board and her RAM also. Still not booting. (In this configuration I also tried shorting the pins cause it was a flying setup on the table and the cases power button cable was to short.)</div><div><br></div><div>I'm currently pretty convinced that my board is dead. Yes I have double checked the 24pin and 8pin + 4pin power connections.</div><div>I tried with different RAM configurations (only one DIMM in A2).</div><div><br></div><div>But after powering the system, only the chipset starts pulsing and when I press the power button nothing else happens. No spinning fans, no "powering up". - Do I miss something obvious?</div><div><br></div><div>Is there an even more minimal configuration I could try to get the system powered on (only cpu installed for example)?</div><div><br></div><div>This is not my first system I built over the years, but currently I'm out of ideas.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you, all.</div>]]>
