It seems there was a sweet spot for 1000-series processors that was just before the big changes needed to support the 2000-series APUs. Those changes seem to have broken a lot of things. In other words, anyone using a 2000-series processor needs the very latest BIOS version while someone using a 1000-series processor might be better served by the last one before the big update. On the download site this is described as the "Bridge BIOS".]]>

I was running the 4.60 bios I was having lagging and stuttering issues big time so I updated the bios to version 4.90 that seemed to pretty much fix it. well no asrock just released 5.00 bios. should I upgrade again, or leave it be?]]>
