I'm having the exact same issue. I did take everything apart. The mobo is not in the case and the only stuff in it is the CPU, CPU cooler and RAM. Won't post and the LED keeps pulsing red. So just made a new build with Z370i, intel i7 8700 [with stock cooler], Team Vengeance 2x8gb 3000Mhz, EVGA Supernova 650W gold+ PSU with 750gb HDD [i know know, its what Ive got to hand right now]. Anyway as far as I can tell all the connectors are in the right place, I've taken the ram out, switched them round, i havent completely disassembled it yet as thought I'd ask in a forum. Anyway the mobo can tell there is power going to it, blue led comes out and then within about 7 seconds or so turns to blinking red, so obviously something is happening and I cant figure it out and I cnt find anything online about what the LED lights might mean if various combo's but Im not sure. Ive heard people have returned this board in droves because of defective and just not posting.

Please help im going insane trying to solve this thing. Its the first build ive ever done where it has not booting up straight away, as all previous builds had no issues.
