CPU: Ryzen 5 1600

PSU: Corsair TXM 550

I notice significant problems when I attempt to use either:

ASRock Setting Manual

ASRock Setting Auto

AMD CBS Setting

It would appear that in order to get this to function the following setting must be set:

AMD CBS Setting

AMD Cool 'n Quiet - Enabled

Core Performance Boost - Disable

PState Overclock - Accept - P0, P1, P2 Custom (Set accordingly)

This works, however you may not load an XMP Profile, and must either leave your RAM to auto clock, or manually overclock.

When you auto clock, it will be stuck on 2133mhz, and if you manual clock, you must know what each value means (and the documentation is poor, to say the least).

One solution is boot in ASRock Setting, and load an XMP profile. Once that it set, restart, enter BIOS and modify overclock setting to AMD CBS Setting. Then go back and modify your PStates, and disable Core Performance Boost. Enable Cool 'n Quiet (PState overclocking appears to simply not function at all without cool and quiet on this board). 

The reason this solution is also not ideal, is because when you are attempting to find a suitable RAM overclock, or latency timings, and it fails, then you essentially reset all the settings again (PStates, Core Performance Boost, Overclock Mode, etc)

I am actually finding that the PState Overclocks often come undone, and only the P2 State will be set to manual. When this happens, it essentially also resets the Core Performance Boost to enabled. Even with clocks and voltages way within range. Even at stock speeds. This is even after resetting CMOS and reflashing the board.

The BIOS 4.90 version is also not an option because it cannot appear to hold the RAM timing info, and ALWAYS reverts back to base DDR4 speeds. Something confirmed by ASRock when I contacted them.

Any ideas?
