   <title><![CDATA[Asrock z370 Taichi bad sound : So I have an i7 8700k16GB DDR4...]]></title>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=10727">papajo</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9559<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29 Aug 2018 at 4:46pm<br /><br />So I have an i7 8700k&nbsp;<div>16GB DDR4 3200cl14</div><div><br></div><div>2x Sapphire RX 580 8GB crossfire&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>2x HDDs&nbsp;<br>1x SSD</div><div>1x Bluray recorder</div><div>1x front panel with 2xUSB 2x USB3 and a usb card reader audio and mic</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Everything was fine (except an issue I post in this topic http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=9560&amp;PID=55461&amp;#55461) when I only had 1 RX 580&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>but an serious audio issue appeared after this two things changed on my system (I am not sure what exactly caused it because both happened on the same day and about the same time)&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Event 1) Asrock shop updated my Intel HD driver (prior to that I downloaded manually the driver from the site like 3 months back or so)&nbsp; -PS Asrock shop is very bad both in searching for drivers since it lists to update drivers that are up to date and also in restarts 1000 times for a few drivers instead for installing them all and do 1 restart <b>but I digress...&nbsp;</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Event 2) I installed a 2nd RX 580 DDU the old drivers and freshly installed the latest ones from AMD.<br><br><br>After doing this the front panel audio got completely destroyed (here stackoverflow topic I uploaded describing this issue in detail&nbsp; <a href="https://superuser.com/questi&#111;ns/1351922/choppy-sound-&#111;nly-&#111;n-fr&#111;nt-panel-&#111;nly-&#111;n-youtube/1351965#1351965" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://superuser.com/questions/1351922/choppy-sound-only-on-front-panel-only-on-youtube/1351965#1351965</a>) but ONLY when I played youtube videos...</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>but sound worked fine over HDMI hooking up my headhones on the monitor's audio jack.&nbsp;<br><br><br>but now again after DDU and installing even newer AMD drivers (And it so happened that asrock shop again popped to install new HD drivers)&nbsp; my sound over HDMI over my monitors audiojack has issues (not as sever as the front panel -severity described in the outside link above-)&nbsp; but still a channel gets muted and then up again at random or I hear some noise for a split second every now and then etc.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by papajo - 29 Aug 2018 at 4:57pm</span>]]>
