Author: Malina95
Subject: 95673
Posted: 05 Feb 2025 at 4:27pm

Hello everyone I need help. Maybe someone has encountered something like this.
We have an ASRock B760M Steel Legend Wi-Fi board with a problem: partial backlight control in the M.2 area of the drive. That is, half of the diodes (there seem to be 4 of them) are controlled using software, and the other half are lit in white (see the video). Tech support stated that these are POST codes, although they are located in a completely different place. Plus, after pressing the START button, the computer does not start immediately, but first the backlight lights up and after 3 seconds the PC turns on.
We tried resetting the BIOS to factory settings, but it didn't help.
In the video (after the screenshots) from the user from YouTube, you can just see the operation of the board: all the diodes are on, and the system starts immediately. The backlight is on before the start - this setting is disabled in the BIOS. We have it disabled.

https://youtu.be/0BPxCVjIgZE
