Regarding your case, we havereleased a special BIOS base on P3.10 add an option to control the ASMedia SATAports hot plug function.

*BIOS Path: Advanced >Storage Configuration

Please download the BIOS fromfollowing link and update by Instant flash.

So i am still running Bios version 1.5 i got from one of the Mods here.

I am using this because it has the Hotswap option disabled for Sata Ports 7 and 8.

My question is: Did the new Bios get an Option to disable the Hotswap function or not?
