For this case, both B850M Steel Legend WiFi and B850M Pro RS do not support DP Alt Mode.

Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading PC with a B850M Steel Legend, or Pro RS motherboard and Ryzen 9 7900 combo.

I have a sony mobile display that I'd like to use with my PC - do either of these motherboards support displayport alt mode over USB-C?
