Mine has same issue sometimes. But fans spin up, but no POST. No display or anything. I hold down power button to power off. Hi! Sorry, forgot to reply.
After leaving the battery out for the night, the fans started spinning when I first tried to switch it on.
This happened only once, though. When trying again, everything was like before.
I've decided to RMA the board.

Thanks, I tried with a different PSU so I that's not it. One last thing you can try, disconnect all power from the board, pull the CMOS battery and leave the system like that over night. If it still won't power up after that then RMA the board.

Hello Wuhu, I'm glad I could be of some assistance!

Since your mobo IS equipped with Dr.Debug AND you don't see anything there, it's most likely a dead mobo, to me at least. Either the mobo or the PSU has bitten the dust, me thinks.

You could try testing your PSU with multimeter if you so have the knowledge or the guts to. Basically, you just take out the PSU, short out 2 pins and measure all voltages. I did exactly as you said. None of the pins were bent and, unfortunately, nothing changed. Same thing: When pressing the power button, nothing happens (not even the fans begin to spin). The led below the gears is on whenever the power supply is connected. that's all.

Is there anything else I could try?

Lay the mobo on an insulating surface outside of the PC case, stripped of everything.

Re-seat the CPU, check for bent pins. Re-paste the CPU cooler and mount it again. Put only 1 RAM stick (check manual for exact location), reset CMOS with battery out.

Plug ALL power cables back in, put a GPU and try powering up. Let us know what happens next.

Hello!

My Taichi 399x board stopped working overnight. I turned off the computer last night and today it wouldn't start up. Before that it was working fine for about a month.

Pressing the power button (both the on the case or the one on the board) has no effect.

When switching on the PSU, a white LED under the gear thing lights up for a couple of seconds, then switches color to blue and blinks / pulsates.

Dr. Debug shows nothing.

I removed the board from the case and unplugged everything. With only the 24pin cable attached, the cpu fan started turning after pressing the power button. However, this happened only once. When trying again, it was back to nothing working. I have no idea what was going on there.

I tried different configurations of cables attached, RAM in/out, different PSU, nothing worked.

Clearing the CMOS (both by pressing the button and removing the battery) didn't help, either.

I haven't removed the CPU, but I suspect that if there was something wrong with it, Dr. Debug would show something.

I checked the board for signs of shorts, but didn't find anything.

Is there anything else I could try, or is the board broken?
