There are up to 24 lanes from the z370 PCH and the M2 do not share share with each other, they share only with the 2 SATA ports. Similar to how slot PCIe4 shares with PCIe5 and the PCI slot ("If PCIE5 slot or PCI slot is occupied, PCIE4 slot will run at x2 mode.")<br>Hope that helps. Have 2 z370 Pro4 and love them both :)<br>]]>

My question about the PCIE lines. If I use 1 M.2 NVme based ssd, it can use pcie 3.0 x4 lines. That's okey, but what happens if I use a second one?
