Author: fikifo
Subject: 96638
Posted: 10 Feb 2025 at 10:29am

Hi all,

I hope you can help me with this issue.

I recently assembled a new build featuring an AsRock Taichi X870E Lite motherboard and a Ryzen 9800X3D CPU. The system includes 2x16GB DDR5 6400 Kingston Fury Beast RAM (KF564C32BBEK2-32) and a 1TB Crucial T700 SSD (CT1000T700SSD3) running Windows 11 (latest version). I'm currently waiting for a 5080 GPU delivery; in the meantime, I have installed my old EVGA 3070 XC3 OC, which has performed flawlessly for three years. My setup includes two monitors?”a 24-inch Asus 280Hz and a 32-inch LG 180Hz?”as well as a 4K TV connected via HDMI.

While monitoring temperatures using HWInfo, I noticed that the "PCH TSI0" and "SMBus TS0" sensors are running at the same temperature as the CPU, which is quite high. Specifically, these sensors are reaching temperatures of up to 70°C. , while running benchmarks on Cine R23 both CPU and these sensonrs reaching 80c... I know for CPU is okay but what about these 2 sensors, I know usually PCH chip should not be running that high and this is why i'm concerned..

Is it normal for these sensors to have the same temperature readings as the CPU? Unfortunately, I am unable to upload pictures or screenshots here, but I can provide them if necessary.

Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
