for now try updating the bios ,and look to check you have csm enabled in the bios

5 short beeps is graphic card, either u have nvidia or u have issue with detecting monitor

I have been going crazy trying to get this to work. I am building a new PC and I can?™t get the bios to post. All I get is a black screen. My PSU and GPU I shave tested in other computers and it works fine. I tried breadboarding this and running just the cpu and the cpu fan I plugged in a motherboard speaker and I get no beeps. I would have thought I would have gotten a beep for no ram. When I insert one stick of ram I get beeps. The first time I got 4 short beeps for graphics card so I put that in and got 5 short beeps which cpu I think. Should I take out my cpu and put it back in? I have bios version 4.60. I have read people have had problems with this version and the Ryzen 1600 even though it shouldn?™t. I don?™t think I can return the board cause I cut off the upc for the rebate. Wish I would have tested the damn thing first :/. Might be stuck with s brick. Anyway I really could use some help.
