I use the microphone boost in the microphone settings to make my microphone work to where it can be heard clearly. The problem is when the computer starts up, the mic boost only works when the sound spoken into the mic is over a certain level, before that level the mic volume sounds like it is at 0 boost level, when I raise my voice over this unknown level the boost kicks in and the volume sounds normal.

A temporary fix to the problem is to adjust the mic boost down then back up to the level you want it at and the bug stops until the next time the computer starts up. And this is happening on a clean windows install.

For the time being I have uninstalled the audio driver and the boost works fine with the default windows audio driver.

Help with this would be appreciated!
