Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller


Recently had a problem with my MOBO and took the opportunity to renew it. AsRock B760M PG Lightning.


Before that my internet (fiber) was clean and constant speeds of above 400mb/s

Now this one will not go 100mb/s


Here are the things i have tried:

Updated the drivers from the website ( Both Realtek and the Dragon for this board) no change.

Reinstalled Windows 11 from oficial Boot USD Drive

Changed the Ehternet cable ( brand new certified Cat6 )

Powered off and on both my Router and the Internet modem. (mind you, its the same ones as it was before and it was fine)

changed Duplex setting both to force 1Gb and to Auto and both still gave me 100mb/s

Windows 11

Everything properly Updated to February 2025

On windows the rated Speed for my Ethernet adapter is 1000 (Mbps)

I have requested my ISP to report if there has been any issues on their end, but since this happened as soon as i changed my MOBO, im suspecting there is something else i can do on my end.
