We have purchased a new Asrock IMB-X1238 Industrial Motherboard and it doesn?™t seem to be compatible with any available LGA1700 1U coolers because it looks like the VRM chips get in the way of mounting. The VRMs outlined in red is too tall for the CPU cooler that mounts on top of the CPU socket.

We?™re specifically looking at this Dynatron Q1 cooler, which doesn?™t look like it will fit. Is this a design flaw of the motherboard? Can you please confirm if this cooler can fit or not? And if not, can you suggest another 1U cooler that will be compatible?
