Author: Seven
Subject: 99644
Posted: 01 Mar 2025 at 12:45am

Hi,

I have a ASRock, Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S, with bios version 1.3, I have been doing the following to make my system Windows 11 ready:

Enter BIOS (F2 or Del during boot).
Disable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) first.
Go to Boot ? Find CSM and set it to Disabled.
    Save & Exit (F10), then re-enter BIOS.
Enable Secure Boot:
Go to Boot ? Secure Boot and set it to Enabled.
Enable Intel PTT (TPM 2.0):
Go to Advanced ? Security ? Enable Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT).
Save & Exit (F10), then check if the settings stick after a reboot.
But, the bios keeps defaulting back to original settings,

Do you think updating my bios would help? are there updates to the bios that solve this issue? I would like to upgrade my system to Windows 11.
- Thanks.
