Any background process can affect idle speeds. I had icue running in the background (system tray). When I closed it, it dropped my voltage by .3. Other processes don't seem to affect voltage that much. So when looking at idle stats, I would make sure everything is closed other than Ryzen Master.

Okay if that's normal I'll ignore it. Think there's another new BIOS now anyway for me to try.

It says: Please note that it is totally normal for your Ryzen to use voltages in a range of 0.200V - 1.500V -- this is the factory operating range of the CPU.

Select/configure the power plan, use HWInfo to see the min/max values.

yeah I've seen the reddit, but doesn't really say about idle voltage, only load? My concern is that most of the CPU's are sleeping in idle on windows desktop, but seeing voltage sat at a constant 1.4vcore spiking to 1.5v
Before I updated the BIOS it was much lower.

I upgraded from BIOS 3.40 to 3.50 and XMP is now working and stable, however my CPU is showing is Ryzen master as hitting 1.4v just idling... doesn't seem right, is this something to be concerned about?
