if can please try hci memtest with at least 400% coverage. http://www.overclock.net/t/1628751/official-amd-ryzen-ddr4-24-7-memory-stability-thread i use gskill flare x 3200MHzC14 Kit (Samsung B Die), but still cannot reach 3200MHz due to stability issue. even a cheap b350 board can do it lol, why x370 k4 cannot? i try input the frequency, timing and voltage manually, it can boot into os, but when memtest will give error. haiz. mayb is K4 limitation.

congrats, you have a good piece of x370 K4 mobo there. Don't see many doing 3200 stable so far.
btw, you can also try running ddr4-3200 with the CPU core speed at stock when testing RAM oc'ing stability. That way, you don't have to contend with overheating. |

I'm having a hard time believing anyone who says that they have memory running stable at 3200 on the X370 Gaming K4. ASRock has said that the board has a flaw/limitation that won't allow it, and I've tried every trick I've read about to get my 3600 MHz Samsung RAM to do it, and it won't. It seems stable, but it always fails MemTest86 in a couple of minutes. It's fine at 2933.
To those of you who think your system is stable with the RAM at 3600, run it through four complete cycles of MemTest86, and I bet you'll get errors within the first few minutes.

and I'm not saying that the memory is 100% stable. just compared to all the other versions of the BIOS to 2.40 I have a whole lot more stable. Yes,the errors under memtest are likely to be,but it does not prevent to use 3200 MHz on the memory
now the CPU frequency dropped almost in default. 5 minutes occt linpack did not give errors. https://imageshack.com/user/aleksei123321 this images from occt ---this is what was the settings in occt I have also increased soc, slightly raised voltage vpp and vddp with such settings the test as the same passes with no problems Edited by aleksei12 - 10 Sep 2017 at 6:01pm |
