I left RTT as a category, not as that. It is done in order, with the first RTT_NOM being RZQ/7, the RTT_WR off being listed as Dynamic ODT off, if you ever played in that menu, and the RTT_Park being RZQ/4. It is listed top to bottom. for CAD_BUS AddrCmd, I set to 0, CAD_BUS CsODT I set to 1, for CAD_BUS Cke, I set to 1. If you want the images, check out those I have posted over in this thread at OCN https://www.overclock.net/forum/13-amd-general/1640919-ryzen-dram-calculator-1-1-0-beta-2-overclocking-dram-am4-250.html#post27563294 My last couple posts in there have the BMP files from the Asrock BIOS/UEFI itself, has my stability testing screenshots, and has my CB15 benches. The one I linked has my ram report from Thaiphoon Burner as well, so you can see what hardware I'm working with. As I said, images are easier, and asking to type out every blessed timing is worthless for troubleshooting. I believe you had an image shared at the start of this thread. Can you tell me what I need to do to post mine here? Edited by ajc9988 - 07 Aug 2018 at 1:26am |

That's too much effort. I'll just cross reference posting in the Ryzen DRAM calculator thread or the unofficial asrock x399 taichi fatality overclocking thread (https://www.overclock.net/forum/11-amd-motherboards/1638140-asrock-x399-taichi-fatality-overclocking-unofficial-support-50.html) then. I put the BIOS pics there (same handle, noticed you were in that thread also)

Hello,
I was asked to post the below message, so I hope it is not redundant: Bryan, please post this message I received for ASRock Support: The bios 3.20 is for 2nd Gen of TR4 processor. Since your processor is 1st Gen of TR4, please keep the bios version on 2.00. Please point out that it came from ASRock support. B. |

I do not know about others but 3.20 so far is the best bios version I have had. 3466 is ROCK solid, before only 3200 was.

That might be fine if 2.0 worked better significantly than other versions of the BIOS, didn't have the annoying FC 6 beeps during ram OC I didn't get from earlier versions or the new 3.0-3.20 variants, was updated more than since last November, has a variant with the newer AGESA for security with Spectre, etc. Sure, I did like the better ram speeds. That was great. But not hearing the 6 beeps at every boot for 3600 settings that worked with that BIOS and the ones before them is a huge boon for me.
I do understand that the newer ones are works in progress, meant for the newer chips, etc. But, because of the above reasons, I think I will tinker a bit more. Edited by ajc9988 - 08 Aug 2018 at 8:22am |

The new Uefi 3.xx gives
you more configuration control if you are using ECC RAM (Enable ECC & Symbol
Size) and a few other things too, and a post/quote from a member is not
an official statement, sorry. @Asrock: If Uefi 2.0 is for 1st gen. and Uefi > 3.x is only for the 2nd gen. so please unlock the 3.20 features in the Uefi 2.00. Also a good idea will be an workstation like implementation of a full WHEA Support in the Uefi. What about an v4.00 for workstation use (no overclocking stuff)?

Hi, anybody have experience with Raid issues with uefi bios 3.20?
When I tried it, I found my onboard SS 850 Evo m.2 Sata ssd array was offline, and I have not yet had time to try to delete and re-create it in RaidXpert2. I did notice several new additions to the bios and would like to use it, but don't know if I will be able to overcome the raid issue. Everything else seemed O.K. though, but I do have Gen1 TR 1950x. |
