That power on problem sounds quite annoying, especially considering I tend to turn off my PC completely at the end of the day then cold boot every morning.

Yeah, 3.60 works well, but in 3.90,as I read from datasheet, can provide some overclocking opportunity by some fixes inside the code in pbo and xfr

the nightmare isnt loosing settings on cold boot the nightmare is getting it to post and retain settings

problem 1
actually it totally just powers on with no beeps/codes hard to switch off

either keep trying via psu switch or reset cmos to have the system post

problem 2
loading profile when it actually boots may not work

a, either keep repeating problem one until it accepts your uefi profile
b, boot into windows with safe defaults then restart to load uefi profile (50% chance to start from the top)

Sounds like new hardware connection algorithm - plug and pray.

Did you try boot after full turning off (PSU is off)? Does Mobo save xmp profile?

Hmm, I shut down my system every day and don't have any "BIOS settings reset" bug.

So, there is still some problem with new BIOS. It can't run stable with a higher clocks than xmp, as for my system, I have xmp on 3200 and can't achieve more than 3400, but on 3.60 I have no problem with 3600 with custom timings (using ryzen dram calculator)
