Hello everyone,
I have a short question, maybe someone here already has experience with this. I want to install an M2 SSD in my e3c236d2i. Now the manual says "The M.2 slot (M2_1) is shared with the SATA_0 connector. When M2_1 is populated with a M.2 SATA3 module, SATA_0 is disabled." How does it react if the connected card is an M2 Nvme SSD (Pci-e), not an M2 Sata. Will the SATA_0 port still be blocked? Thank you very much. |

Yes SATA_0 will still be blocked because it uses the same PCIe lanes that M2_1 uses. According to the manual the board only supports 6 HDD devices.
Hope that helps.. |

Page 40 of the manual displays the bios storage page with 7 storages. The m.2 is listed twice: SATA_0/M.2(SATA) and M.2(PCIE). So SATA_0 should work if a M.2 NVME is installed.
