New Build, cant post error 10 Taichi x399

   Specs:
cpu ; Amd 1950x Threadripper
mother board: asrock taichi x399 motherboard
ram : Corsair - Vengeance LPX 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
psu : EVGA 850 Bq, 80+ Bronze 850W
drive: Corsair Force MP510 M.2 2280 960GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4
cpu cooler: CORSAIR H100i RGB PLATINUM AIO Liquid CPU Cooler,240mm,Dual ML120 PRO RGB PWM Fans,Intel 115x/2066,AMD AM4/TR4 
case : Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 
gpu : rtx 2070 msi
 bios version :3.5 as per sticker on motherboard

Problem: I keep getting error 10 on the LED dr. debug. It wont post or go to bios, just hang and I guess restart.

Attempts: I tried everything I have found on the web. First I tried firing it up with everything connected and was getting an error that said 92 on the dr. debug. Since then I have disconnected just about everything leaving a barebones boot. Only things currently connected to the motherboard is the cpu, cpu cooler and a stick of ram. I tried moving the stick of ram into d2 slot. I have been attempting to boot from a2 and have tried all 4 sticks in a2 and d2. I also booted with no ram and got the same error code 10. After every configuration I unplug and press the cmos button for 10 seconds. I unseated and reseated the cpu. Cmos clear. No change. As far as power connections, I have the 24 pin ATX attached as well as the 8 pin ATX located top right and 4 pin top left.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Im losing my mind and don't know what else to do!

	BIOS 3.50 is fairly recent. I'm not sure if the mobo hasn't been opened for addition flash of this BIOS version, hence the sticker. Quite possibly the flash could have gone wrong. Your RAM is one of the possibly most incompatible with Ryzens. Great chance you hit a bump here as well. Here is what I would do here: re-seat the CPU once again, check for bent pins in the socket; put just one (different from before) stick of RAM anywhere, make sure it is seated correctly 100%; strip all other components; plug in and re-check ALL power cables; mount the AIO cooler; flash BIOS 3.50 again from recovery USB; reboot; clear CMOS again!

Live and learn. There is a best buy near me that has corsair ram that is listed on the amd compatibility list. I think I might try that first and pick that up before continuing. If it doesnt work, I will follow your instructions to the letter. Thank you for your reply and the insight to the ram!

	First gen Threadrippers can't run high speed RAM in more than dual-channel setup. If you intend to run 4 or 8 sticks you don't need to spend huge amounts of money for fast RAM. Either way, always check the QVL for supported models and their respective capacities.

	Well, it was the motherboard. Sent it back got a new one. New one works perfect

	Good that you have found the culprit! What speed do you run your RAM now?
