Thank you, i appreciate you taking the time to help me. That worked for the rollback. The bios version in ASROM.ini needed to be changed to "L5.24" instead of "P4.40" to allow permission. Was probably just the "L" that threw it off.

Unfortunately L5.25 is still missing lots of options in the PBO and CBS menus. I will roll back to 5.10 again and screenshot the menus.

Many old features are no longer needed in AGESA 1001

I was not expecting features to be removed.

BIOS PSP toggle is missing, which i think an important option to be exposed because of undiscovered hardware exploits. I have kept PSP disabled since Spectre/Meltdown. PSP can't be exploited if it's turned off, is the theory.

External BCLK generator is not available, this is a feature of the board listed on the product page. I would like to use it if it ever gets fixed properly.

There are also CBS options that are relevant to RAM overclocking that are no longer exposed in BIOS.

It has little to do with ASRock, but the AGESA code comes from AMD and many features are indeed CPU Type switched.

We have BCLK in the standard "OC Tweaker"

PSP is a big issue. Their security through obscurity proved to be a disaster times and again.

I too would like to have a PSP toggle switch, but let me tell you why I will keep it ON.

Unless you are using an air-gapped machine with strict physical access, you need some sort of TPM. And here is the problem - you can either use an external TPM chip (which the mobo doesn't have a header for), or use AMD's fTPM (which is part of PSP).

Recently leaked NSA tools are already being used by people around the world to reverse-engineer the PSP and other low-level systems. Hopefully we will get a hardened, backdoor-free platforms soon enough.

Let's see what's going on at AGESA 1001 with the "BIOS PSP Support".

Answer soon.

After checking, the reason is that AMD remove this option with Agesa code 1.0.0.1
ASRock does not remove it.
So, we cannot add it back due to this option does not exist in primitive AMD Agesa 1.0.0.1 code.

JZ
