They shouldn't put any of the Beta version out unless it is an emergency patch. Both those betas been on here for so long (one 4 months the other 9 months) should give everyone a reason to not download it.

I hope you can get it back to working condition.

Board Model:B550 Taichi
Bios:3.46
CPU:5700x
RAM:Gskill Trident Z Neo 3600mhz

I upgraded to Bios 3.46 from 3.40 for security purposes only. After updating the BIOS and clearing the CMOS and setting BIOS to defaults the board will not POST with any devices plugged into either of the two rear IO USB 2.0 ports. I have had this problem in the past with previous BIOS versions. I know that this is a beta BIOS and I as stated I just upgraded due to security of the CPU. I know that the AMD B550 chipset has problems with USB. I am hoping that this issue will be resolved in a future BIOS update. I hope this helps in case Asrock is unaware of the issue. Best wishes.

Thank you, Xaltar, for creating this sticky thread. It's great to have a dedicated space to share experiences with BIOS updates and their impact. This will definitely help keep things organized and allow users to quickly find valuable information. I'll make sure to keep my contributions focused on the BIOS versions I've tested and avoid unrelated questions. Looking forward to seeing how this thread grows into a useful resource for the community and ASRock's tech support.

Board model: X570 Taichi
BIOS version: 5.60, 5.61,
CPU: 5950X
RAM: 64GB DDR4000 will only run at 3733 or less.

Notes: When using 5.61 system completely destabilized and crashed regularly rebooting the entire system randomly. I did full bios resets full settings resets and tested each setting one by one from default. Nothing worked. It remained unstable.

Upon reverting to 5.6 from January. I was able to return to PBO active with -14 curve with +125 overclock with ram at 3733 with matching infinity fabric. I am now stable again. I could not run full default mode with 2133 ram on 5.61. Given that 5.63 only says it adds a patch for a hack I have serious doubts it will fix anything.

It could be that retraining just took a long time and it wasn't give enough at first.

I had the same issue with my build on a B550M-dhv. Wouldn't post no matter what I did for the next 4 hrs. Then on my 5th time of re-seating everything, I held my thumb down on the ram modules as it turned on it posted. I guess it is just touchy with ram seating. Been fine for the last week though.

It just means that there are no specific enhancements for Pinnacle and Raven Ridge
in that BIOS version. In other words, no benefit to be had. It's mostly to help
prevent pointless BIOS updating. There was a trend of updating to every single new
BIOS version when Ryzen first launched and it caused issues. A lot of people mistakenly
thought that a BIOS update was an upgrade/free performance. If your system is
stable and working properly there is never any point in updating outside of
security feature updates when a new exploit comes to light.

Well most ppl would run away and hide in shame but nope, my mistake I own it...

So.... A320MHDV... I had been getting my BIOS from the standard A320MHDV BIOS page when google put a link up to HDV R4 underneath the standard one and woops the BIOS for the R4 is not the same... so all my cussing at Asrock was pretty unfair on my part and apols...

Dilemma though the last BIOS install crashed so puter was taken to the kitchen worktop which is my PC workbench and I had to do a crash strip down, new 2032 cell (I'm a watchmaker I have whole boxes of batteries and decent quality ones too) clrcmos with a set of brass tweezers, installed a brand new cooler for the CPU as the thermal paste despite me doing it before Xmas was rock hard and only cheap Ali stuff so out with the decent stuff, dedust and just fired up back to normal, no slow BIOS loading.

Oh and my RX570 is throttling correctly, goes up from x8 to x16 when under the hammer so all good.

Can someone explain why Asrock put a disclaimer on the later BIOS's for Pinnacle, Raven ridge etc?   I mean all those listed as a bit of a no no is pretty much all the AM4 range.
