I just completed my first build using a X570 Taichi and AMD Ryzen 7 3800x. WHen I power it up with new M2 and SSD, I can't get to the UEIF. I tried tapping F2 - no luck. Restarted and tapped "Delete" - no luck. The little digital display on the MB goes through a bunch of steps then stops displaying "A9". First thought it might be that I have a wireless keyboard and mouse. Tried a very old wired keyboard, still no luck. Does anyone have any advice£ Would like to get this machine up and running.

Found this when googling:

A9 means that the system couldn't initialize the CPU. Seems like your BIOS version is outdated for newer Ryzen CPU.

Thanks man!
I borrowed a 3600 from my cousin and it worked! I got video signals and I successfully entered into BIOS.It turns out that my board's BIOS was ver1.0
then I update the BIOS, switched back to my 5600x and it finally worked!
Thank you soooo much man!

No Problem. Glad everything turned out for you in the end. Have fun with your new Build!

Seems like you should try With another CPU...and check what kind of bios Version you are running when you get into the bios. THen download the lastest bios Version and try with the New CPU..
