Hello everyone ?? i need to update the bios on my motherboard in order to work with my ryzen 5 5600G..the store that i ordered it from said that it comes with bios 1.7 now my question is which CPUs can be used in order to update the bios to at least 1.8 for my 5600G..thanks everyone ??

I purchased the same MB from Micro Center for an HTPC build and it came with bios 1.7. I also purchased a 5600G and a 5600X to update my 3600 on my desktop. I used the 3600 and the Nvidia graphics card to update the bios to 2.20.
To update the bios it requires a Matisse, Renoir or Vermeer CPU and a graphics card. https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B550M%20Pro4/index.asp#CPU |
