So basically if I put any stick of ram in B1/B2 MOBO goes into a boot loop, fans on for 30seconds, then off and back on again.
I found I can put RAM in A1 A2 and it boots, or just A2.(boots just fine) I know Spec says A2/B2 for 2 sticks but it won't boot. I have a service request in with ASRock, but just curious maybe there is a BIOS setting I'm missing. I've cleaned(blown out all the slots) removed and reinstalled CPU.(this also happened with AMD Athlon 200GE processor on loan from AMD for BIOS updates. Also tried different RAM to see if that was an issue(it still happened) System: B450M PRO4 BIOS 5.20(updated per customer service suggestion) Ryzen 5 5600G RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX(2x8GB) (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) 2 RAM (2x8gb) G.Skill RipJaws (F4-3200C16D-16GVKB) |
