New PC build, but not my first.

    MB: Z590 Steel Legand
    Processor: i7-10700k
    Ram: 32gb Corsair 3600 DDR4
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founders
Drives: NVMn WD Black 1tb & NVMn WD Red 500gb
    CPU Cooling: NZXT Kraken X53
    Fans: Lian Li AL120 (4)
Power: Leade X Gold ARGB 650w

Issue: After build, boot to Bios to check system was functional, no errors, and all devices were recognized.

Did install of Windows 10, completed without issue.

The computer ran for maybe 5-10 minutes then shut down on its own.

Now, can't even boot long enough to any diagnostics...within seconds of booting (trying to boot to Bios or Windows) the computer just shuts down (stops).

I do not get any indication of issues, no beeping, no error lights, nothing.

Any suggestions?

I have tried re-setting ram sticks, and video card, and checked CPU cooling block to ensure not to tight (it did not appear to be). Not sure if I have a faulty MB, maybe power(?), just looking for some guidance if anyone has seen anything like this in their experience as I have not it this is probably my 20th build (I do not buy off the shelf desktops, and working in IT I spend most of my days and nights on my desktop).

Double check your power connections, make sure they are all properly seated at
both ends. It sounds like a power issue, possibly a defective PSU. Sadly this can
happen even with new PSUs. Super Flower makes PSUs for a number of other
reputable brands. Your PSU has pretty decent user reviews and Super-Flower is a
fairly big player in the PSU market but I find their own branded units are often
not as good as ones they build for other brands. I would have gone with a 750w
unit with your setup too, just to have a bit more headroom. The 1080 may not be
fast compared to current gen high end GPUs but it is still pretty power hungry.

Xaltar, thank you for the information/help.

I think you are spot on with the power. The Z590 board I have has two PSU 8 pin CPU plugs, I had read both were not needed (in most cases) so only plugged in 1, underestimating the power draw. I plugged in the second and was stable for a few hours. To verify this, I unplugged the second one again, ran for a bit and the system shut down after about 30 minutes and started getting the same scenario of shutting down seconds after startup (was going straight to the Bios screen). I then plugged the second CPU plug back in and have been stable for a few hours now.

I will probably look at a beefier power supply, as to your point, I am walking the power consumption line closer than I should be...but at least for now I am stable and pretty sure we have isolated the original issue.

Thank you again for your feedback and suggestions.
