Just a quick question about my mobo. No issues, very happy actually because it's still running strong. I just have a question about the PCiE slots.
Firstly, I'm happily running 3x Samsung M2 drives on the board. Also have (currently) a GeForce GTX1070Ti running on slot 1. What I would like to know is whether I can fit one of the Pcie M2 adapters into one of my remaining 2 slots? I haven't been able to find out the bus speeds of my 2 remaining slots, but if it slows down the M2 drives I would like to install later, naturally it won't be worth doing. Thanks for all and any advice. Andrew. |

It should be fine, your slots don't share any lanes with the M.2 slots on the board
so their lanes are independent. Looking at your board specs: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z390%20Taichi/index.asp#Specification The bottom slot supports bootable NVMe drives so I would install your adapter there. |
