The BIOS version is printed on a smal sticker, on the chip itzelf, or on the side of the IO cover, so it should be possible to confirm if the CPU is supported or not.
Best is to remove the baord from the chassis, put it on top of the cardboard box, with only CPU, 1 memory module, Graphics card, monitor, keyboard and mouse, preferably wired USB, and of course the PSU, with 8 pin, and 24 pin power, then shortcircuit the 2 Power button pins on the system panel header.
Look in the manual, where this header is located, and what is the layout
General layout
You have a row of 4, and a row of 5 pins
From left to right on the 4 pin, Power LED + Power LED -, 2x powerbutton
Bottom row, HDD LED +, HDD LED -, 2x reset switch, one dummy pin
Kind Regards

Hi there, just built a new pc from scratch, but i just get no signal on my monitor and no BIOS comes up.

My Setup is:

Motherboard: ASrock B550M-ITX/ac

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1650

SSD: Samsung 980 M.2

RAM: Corsair 2x8gb 3200Mhz

450w power supply.

As i said nothing shows up on my screen but the fans and lights all start in the computer.

Things ive tried:

Removubg the cmos battery 5 mins,

Removed the gpu and put hdmi in motherboard,

Tested ram 1 by 1

Nothings happening and i dont really know anymore, the cpu is supported for the motherboard according to asrocks website i dont think it needs a bios opdate maybe?

I'd appreciate any help i can get.
