Hello!

I have the ASrock Z790 PG Lightning/D4 Mainboard with an i7 13700k and 32GB(2x16) 3600mhz CL18 RAM from Corsair

The BIOS has the following settings changed:

Activated XMP1 Profile
Set Cooler Type to 360-420mm AIO
Set CPU_FAN2 to Performance Mode

This sets a Power Limit of 265W

In Cinebench R23 Multicore I get around 29500 Points and around 2050 Points for Single core.

Many reviewers get around 30500 or up to 31000 in Multicore.

Any Idea why I might be short of the last 500-1000points?

The arctic liquid freezer II 360 AIO has the CPU at 90-93C during the Benchmark.

I tried raising the power limit to 350W but I got no change in score.

According to HWinfo64 the max Wattage is 285 and then no warnings are triggered.

with 265W there is a limit exceeded triggered but the score is the same anyway.

Am I missing a setting I could try? Windows powerplan to best performance did not help.

Or would I need higher end Board?

A 500-1000 points difference could depend on many things: motherboard (Z690 or Z790), RAM (DDR4 or DDR5, speed and latency), CPU settings in the bios (Intel stock settings or no limits), CPU temperature and possible throttling ...

Anyway, for the i7-13700K and the i9-13900K probably a Taichi motherboard would be better.

Other people with higher scores should have their bus speed at 100.

Maybe?
